UL 752 Certified

no spall

Our bullet resistant glass is tested and certified to UL 752 standards, ensuring proven ballistic protection recognized across the U.S. But we don't stop there - unlike many UL-rated products that allow spall, our glazing is also engineered to meet EN 1063 NS no-spall requirements, providing complete protection from both bullets and dangerous glass fragments.

security glass

Bullet-resistant and forced-entry glass is a high-performance security glazing solution designed to protect buildings from intentional threats such as armed attacks, break-ins, and prolonged intrusion attempts. This type of glass is typically constructed using multiple layers of glass bonded with strong polymer interlayers, creating a transparent barrier capable of resisting bullet penetration, heavy impacts, and repeated attacks without shattering into dangerous shards. Unlike standard glass, bullet-resistant glass is engineered to delay or stop projectiles from common firearms while minimizing spall on the interior side, helping protect occupants and giving valuable time to react, secure the space, or allow authorities to respond. Forced-entry glass focuses on preventing intruders from creating an opening, using laminated or multi-pane systems that withstand blunt force, sharp tools, and sustained assault, making it ideal for commercial storefronts, offices, schools, banks, museums, government facilities, healthcare buildings, and other security-sensitive environments. While often referred to as “bulletproof,” no glass is completely impenetrable; instead, bullet-resistant glass is rated by recognized testing standards that define the caliber, number of shots, and level of force it can withstand. In addition to enhanced security, these systems preserve natural light, maintain a polished and modern appearance, reduce noise, and can be integrated into existing window and door frames or installed as part of a fully rated system. Bullet-resistant and forced-entry glass provides a powerful combination of protection, aesthetics, and long-term value, making it a smart investment for properties seeking discreet yet effective security solutions.

hurricane impact glass

Hurricane impact glass is a specially engineered glazing solution designed to protect homes and commercial buildings from extreme weather conditions, including high winds and flying debris. Constructed with multiple layers of glass bonded together by a durable polymer interlayer, this glass remains intact even if the outer layers crack or shatter, helping prevent wind, rain, and debris from entering the structure while reducing the risk of injury from broken shards. Impact-resistant glass systems are commonly available as laminated glass or insulated laminated glass, the latter featuring an air or gas-filled space between panes for improved energy efficiency and temperature control. Standard thicknesses typically range from 5/16 to 7/16 inches, with thicker options recommended for properties located closer to coastal or high-risk hurricane zones. Beyond storm protection, impact glass enhances safety, security, and comfort by discouraging forced entry, reducing outside noise, blocking up to 99% of harmful UV rays, and improving insulation to lower heating and cooling costs year-round. Available in a wide variety of styles, finishes, and configurations—including windows, doors, and sliding glass systems—impact glass adds both durability and modern appeal to any property while helping meet local building codes and increasing long-term property value. Though not completely unbreakable or designed for ballistic protection, hurricane impact glass is rigorously tested to withstand severe conditions, making it a smart, long-term investment for peace of mind in unpredictable climates.
